It can help to have an objective third party who’s been right where you are take a look at things from a broader view. All too often, we get bogged down in the day to day running of the firm and forget why we’re doing all of this. My job is to help you remember why you’re doing all of this hard work, to stay focused on your goals and then move forward again.
My process starts with a comprehensive review of your firm including your goals both personal and professional. From that, I draft a strategic plan for your review with quantifiable action steps based on your priorities much like you do for your clients with a financial plan.
Once we have a strategic plan in place, we begin to work on the areas we’ve identified are causing challenges within your firm. As I said, these typically fall into one of the six categories in this graph. I believe it is this stage in the process that distinguishes me from others in my industry. I am a hands on implementer and instead of just handing you a plan and saying, okay, now go do it, I will be with you each step of the way offering a wide array of practice management, staffing, service model, marketing and software ideas as well as ideas on other issues that may arise. TOGETHER, as a team, we will drive this plan.
